If you have a TV-tuner video card, it doesn't care what your modem is. It has a screw-on connector, just like a television, and as long as you have a cable with a signal, it's happy. You might want to think twice about draping a cable across three rooms, though. I know Mrs. SmithL wouldn't tolerate that in my house.

I am an instalation tech for Dish Network, I can get the cable to the puter, thanks for the info, will have to check it out although I do like my 15 inch flatscreen next to the monitor.

eastforker, There are lots of video senders available. RadioShack markets them, and you can probably find lots of others. No need to string wire, when Rf will do the job... These have rca outputs, and coaxial.
