There is no requirement that nominations be popular with all or acceptable to all or even to any except 100 people deciding to accept or reject. And THAT is how it was designed by the Founders who wanted to keep the voters out of this completely.

So, in other words, the Anti's are demanding that an unconstitutional method be used to insure we get a strict contitutionalist judge. LOL!

I am staunchly pro-life but do agree that the voters just are not ready for Roe overturned yet. More minds and hearts have to be prepared. Bush has said the same thing. Of course the politically ignorant don't care if the whole house collapses, as long as they get to pull out the few bricks from it they demand.
