The chairman of the House Intelligence Committee said yesterday the panel may widen an ongoing inquiry to include a look at the case of an accused spy who had previously worked at the White House.

Rep. Peter Hoekstra (R-Mich.) said in a telephone interview that the case of Leandro Aragoncillo, the former Marine who is charged with stealing secret documents while working as an FBI analyst at Fort Monmouth, likely will be joined with the committee's other probes.

"We have a series of hearings ongoing with leaks and unauthorized disclosures of information, and obviously spying fits into that," Hoekstra said.

The panel also is looking at the case of Lawrence A. Franklin, a top Pentagon policy analyst who pleaded guilty this month to charges that he leaked secret information to Israeli officials and a pro-Israel lobby group.

Anyway, they should fry him ASAP.

IIRC, opposition Filipino political leaders out to embarrass the Prime Minister. There's way too much of this "divided loyalties" stuff in our government, a fact I attribute to "multiculturalism" and the "whistle-blower" mindset.

Capital offense and I bet he's a Muslim too, but fry him no matter what his religion.
