This thread just confirmed what I have always known for the last 25 years, I am one lucky SOB.
Being in the military, a police officer and working in security overseas my wife has went out of her way to make sure our home is an oasis in the middle of a shitty world.
She does most of the things listed in the article. She manages the home and I let her. She likes it that way.
I have never come home to a dirty house.
Dinner is always ready to go on the table and she pushes the button on the coffee pot as soon as my car pulls up in front of the house.
If my friends stop by for dinner she will always bring us a beer and even lighting my cigar for me. My friends can't believe it.
Got her a maid once to help with the housework and she let her go within two weeks because she still cleaned house herself and thought it was an unnecessary expense.
However, I do my part too. I do not drink, use drugs, gamble or chase women and have never felt the need to stay out all night.
I bring her three bouquets of flowers every two weeks.
I tell her I love her everyday.
I always hug her (not grope) and do so in front of the kids. They like knowing Mom and Dad love each other.
I like buying her gifts on non special occasions just to see the smile on her face.
I don't bring my problems home from work with me or take out a bad day at the office on her and the kids.
She likes to watch her soap operas at night and I insure she has the TV for two or three hours every evening regardless if there is something on TV I might want to see.
I treat her with respect in private and in public.
She loves to play the local lottery and I always make sure she has the money to play, it makes her happy.
Life is good.

Whoa, there is still hope for us yet......Thought for sure the feminazis had transformed us for good.
My better half did not work outside the house until she wanted to, when the kids hit middle school.
Unfortunately, she picked up on the idea that she shouldn't "baby" her husband as it was a sign of some sort of weakness on her or my part.
Today, she has given up on most of her liberal idealogy after 27 years of marriage (yeah, not too many of us left).
Congratulations to you for finding happiness!
