I posted the transcript at #258 . I am calling you a liar if you think she called Bush a drunk or a lush. I find her statements offensive but I don't think we need to put words in her mouth.

Unless she appeared on Maher a second time and made these statments you are alleging?

I saw the video clip on a friends laptop. Call me a liar for stating what I saw? That is uncalled for. You are an ass for using that sort of technique to defend Ann.

I do not have the clip, but I did just call a fellow that works for me (who also watched it with me). He refreshed my memory as to the particulars. Something was mentioned about the Enquirer story (which supposedly claimed Katrina pushed the President into drinking again). She responded that was ridiculous, but the Miers decision seemed like one made by a drunken lush.

I have no idea of any air date, or whether this segment made it to air, or if this was from the same night.

Attitudes like yours are going to force many (including me) to quit coming here. This wonderful vacation from daily life has become little more than a battleground. If FR is not a place where Conservatives can debate without sliding into the gutter, then we have lost the only place that existed where we could.
