I wondered why Harry Reid recommended her. *eye roll* You guys still think that Reid and the others have some sort of vast tract of secret information that none of us have. Reid has secretly put Miers into Bush's confidence for a decade for just this moment. How devious!
I know exactly why Reid wants Miers' nomination and it explains exactly why conservatives will be behind her after the hearings are over.
