Great catch by Edmunds. I'm a die-hard 'Stros fan but the Cardinals have always been my next favorite team. I think they have the best fans in baseball.

Edmonds is a stud. That was a remarkable catch on a ball that got out there in a hurry.

braves have the worst. cant figure why they cheer all regular season and then either sit on their hands or make a stupid whoa-whoa-whoooaaaaa chant in the playoffs.
To: SaveTheChief
Edmunds has made a lot of highlight reel catches. 3 ouuts, Cards up next for the bottom of the 6th

Ensgurg? sounds like backed-up drain pipes.
To: BOBWADE

I had some greater hopes for that inning.

Garner is a great manager. He pulls his starter early because he can. Houston has a superb bullpen, and why let a lead slip away if you don't have to. Tony LaGenius is very good as well, but he has a propensity to overmanage.
And don't underestimate the offense. Yes, it is sometimes lacking but when they're on, they're on. Berkman and Ensberg have a lot of pop. Most of it depends on getting some baserunners for them.

Pujols HOME RUN
Astros lead cut to 2-1
To: Cyclopean Squid
Pujols just launched that one. Maybe their Cardinal offense is waking up.
To: CARDINALRULES
Pujols seems like he hits around .800 against the Astros.
