In my life I have never seen a bunch of elitist snobs pitch such snot blowing, vain popping fit over a simple nomination coming from within their own party. All anyone is asking is that Miers get her day in committee. Nothing else.

I believe she's entitled to a hearing. Are you willing to go on record that, following a hearing, Republican Senators are entitled to vote "Nay" without being labeled scum, traitors, and so forth.

I do not want another Souter or Ginsburg as much if not more then anyone else.

She gets into committee all bets are off. She either deserves the nomination or she doesn't. Kill it there, where it is meant to be killed.
