My guess is that the red states were doing OK with that subject.

However, it would be interesting to find out which states' provide the most citizen volunteers to the military for our common defense, I'd like both raw numbers and per cent.

Went to DOD site and didn't see any; but it's a huge site and they may be buried in there somewhere. Or, it may be too politically incorrect to show where the patriots come from (my guess is, mostly red states).
