Wow, it's a mixed bag. Everything from solid conservatives to Patty Murray, who strikes me as being much more egregious than hillary.

I suppose big firms have to do these things, but I must say I think the money would have been put to better use if they had taken it up and dropped it out of an airplane.

What the list indicates is very simple, there is no ideology involved, they are spreading cheer and looking for a leg up on influence wherever and whenever possible.

But the relevance here at FR is that folks who try to tie Harriet Miers to Hillary Clinton through this garbage are not being honest.

Oppose her on the merits? Fine.

Slime her with innuendo and guilt by association? I want no part of it.
