Don't prosecutors do this before they get indictments?

-It's stunning how ill-informed people are.-

You bet it is. I'd be surprised if half the people I talk to on a daily basis even know who Tom DeLay IS.

We have a prosecutor attempting to use the powers of his office in direct contravention of the law - seeking an indictment first and then going on a fishing expedition for evidence. Sure seems illegal to me.

I think they should get Earls' phone records as well. It would be interesting to see who he has spoken too regarding his Delay indictment.

When you consider the indictments were just a few days ago, it looks mighty suspicious as an intimidation move on the prosecutors part. Surly Delay would have had a throw down phone to collaborate with his co-conspirators. I have to think that he wouldn't have been that stupid.

But Earle, that may be a different matter, I want to know more about his movie star role.

I agree. IT is really disheartening the MSM behaves the way it does.

Don't panic .. that's common practice. Nothing to get excited about.

Now DeLay needs to subpoena the phone records of:

- Ronnie Earle's office
- the DNC
- the Texas Democrat Party headquarters

to verify the conspiracy that we all know occurred in bringing these charges. I'd love to see that.
