Unfortunately the DC sniper was a pretty good shot.



Actually, his shots were in the 100 yard range, with an AR-15, and some missed. A hit is trivially easy, and a competent shooter would be hitting within an inch of where he aimed. If he wasn't a "bad" shooter, then he certainly did not take an shots that would distinguis him from a miminally capable shooter.
