I lived ONE year in Ohio..... it's by far the most pro-government and bureaucratic State I have ever lived in. It's absolutely amazing how real 'big brother' has become in this seemingly charming little mid-western state.....

Living in Connecticut now and believe it or not, CT is far more real and common sense based government than anything I saw in Ohio.

Totally agree. Ohio is an overcast tax hell with nothing to show for it. I paid less in tax in Taxachusetts, for pity's sake.

The people are generally OK, its the fake Repubs like Taft & Voinovich who screw things up.

BTW, Cleveland and Cincy have urban problems rivaling N.O., but as long as stick & ball sports distract us, nothing will change.

Rural Ohio is much better than (western) Oregon.

Like in New London where they take people's property to give to private developers and then have the nerve to charge the evicted back rent?

BTW. When did Ohio become a 'little mid-western state'? It's the 8th largest state in the Union (4 times the population of CT.), and geographically 5 or 6 times as big as CT.

It's not a little state by any measure.
