Wow, at that rate, assuming that all humans alive now become immortal to every malady other than bird flu, and assuming that no additional humans are born, this disease will depopulate the earth in 200,000,000 years!

WE'RE ALL GONNA DIE!

I sorry but you have no idea what your talking about. The virus has not mutated yet. It can jump from bird to human but it is a very hard jump at the moment. What worries everyone is if it mutates so that the jump is not very hard. If/when it does do this many millions are going to die. The greater the range of the bird flu the more chance it has to mutate. Thus as this virus spreads around the globe the chance of a mutation increases.
