No, the point is that there is ONLY 54% favorable. And that's supposed to be among the people who put bush in office!

That's about 22% less favorable than supported Roberts in Sept among Conservatives.... So we are discussing the 22% that was onboard for Roberts but not for Miers...... Now throw into the mix the 37% that need more info/have no opinion and we'll see where the final numbers come out. They may come out below the 54% if her hearings aren't great but may just as well come out well above 54% if they are great.
