So you can speak for everyone on W's Supreme Court short list from personal knowledge of their decisions?

No, of course not. I just have a very high respect for my fellow conservatives and would be surprised to hear that 80% of them wouldn't jump at the chance to put our courts on the right track and do their service for their country. Also since conservatives care about merit, it would be an even higher honor for most of them to serve on the SCOTUS, regardless of the pay cut or ridicule of the loser MSM.

I don't fault them for fearing all the intense media attention and attacks though. Particularly when they attack your family members.

Exactly so. That was apparently the main motive for bowing out. One thing we conservatives value is our families, and we seek to shield them from unnecessary pain.
