The Thomas nomination proved that the battle can be won no matter what the dems & rinos do.False. At the time, the Senate was majority 'Rat. Also, Specter supported Thomas and tore Anita Hill to shreds. Thomas was apporved 52-48 -- too close for comfort!!
Anyway, 1991 was ages ago. Nobody dreamed of using the filibuster to stop Thomas. Today it's a whole new ballgame.

I dunno. I don't think the Democrats would try to filibuster a Supreme Court nominee. If they did, they'd get their asses handed to them.
