Here's the REAL misunderstanding: Its apologists expect us to ignore the fact that muslims have been on a rampage of murder, rape and robbery for 14 centuries now, with no end in sight until America got involved.

Converting them to Christianity may not be our best tactic here. But re-introducing Zoroastrianism to Iran may have some benefits. Also, clearly, there were other monotheistic religions that had common roots with the Judaic worship, going back to prehistory, and a time in which the ancestors of the Arabs were much closer to their Jewish brethren. These various versions of a more generally accepted religion, that existed before the apostasy that is derived from the ravings of Mohammed, a mentally deranged self-proclaimed "prophet", should be revived and disseminated among those benighted people.
Myth No. 8: Most Moslems are moderates and do not sympathize with the radicals.
