1. His health..the cancer issue, especially skin cancer..and at his age...it would become a dominant issue..and people are not comfortable with electing Presidents with possible health porblems. Cheney is far healthier than McCain, yet were the VP to run, the "three heart attacks" would be heard ad nauseum.
2. Cindy...no not Sheehan, but McCain's wife. I 2000, she was a media darling...she's attractive, photogenic...and was all over the place. After that she had a breakdown of sorts..I think it was drug related..but she had disappeared from the public view...she would be a huge problem, and IMHO could NOT handle the stress of the campaign.
