Prayers for you on the loss of your father.
It's something we all will face, unless we predecease him. And that would break HIS heart.

You've got that right. Every day he kicks liberal butt with 20,000,000 listeners tuned in. Then they go out and spread the word and hammer all non-believers.

Do you remember those days when El Rushbo use to have the Ted Kennedy update that would feature the "gurgling cod"?
It was a raw, devastating attack on that pompous whale. I thought the Kennedys were going to put a hit on him.

I think Rush was also very lucky that his show started just before the online revolution that quickly changed the world. Today, the conservative revival that Rush started has truly blossomed with the public InternetI think Rush may've helped in the online evolution. He was the first media person I ever heard who interacted with his audience via e-mail.(Compuserve at the time) He repeated over and over that a computer was the most mind expanding step you could take in your life, and a guy like me who couldn't even type, was motivated to get a computer
One of the most stupid corporate decisions I've ever seen in my life was Apple's decision not to advertise with Rush. He is one of the true Mac Addicts and at the time Apple was struggling.

What a wonderful testament to the two men who "raised" you, Chris.
I am so sorry to hear of your father's passing.
He must have been a wonderful man to have a son such as you.
God bless, and be with, you, and yours.
May He give you comfort at this time.
Thank you so much for the ping, cyborg.
It truly is a Chris Classic.

One of the most stupid corporate decisions I've ever seen in my life was Apple's decision not to advertise with Rush. He is one of the true Mac Addicts and at the time Apple was struggling. That's not surprising considering that the political philsophy of Apple's Board of Directors and Rush Limbaugh are often polar opposites.
