Many of the suicide terrorists are not even Iraqis, but foreigners driven by religious fanaticism and al-Qaeda’s death cult — the poisonous gift of the Arab world that supported Saddam and now vilifies our nascent democracy.
What an excellent letter, Eurotwit, and it's sad that he even needed to write it to Blair. I don't think Blair will blink, but the pressure to do so is unrelenting.

I think this letter is more aimed at the British public, than it is meant for Blair.
The open letter to Blair is more the vehicle he uses to get his message out to the British people.
Anyways, it was a good letter, and I certainly appreciated it.
