I can assure everyone here-with, in the words of John McLaughlin, "metaphysical certitude"-that this woman has never had a subscription to a publication like National Review, The American Spectator, Imprimis, Commentary, City Journal, etc...
Probably to the Washington Times and/or Weekly Standard, but of even that I'm growing increasingly skeptical.
This woman is not one of us.
Never has been, never will be.
She's not one of you?
What a damn relief.
Perhaps what we need is a constitutional amendment so that the President appoints the SC judges without interference. [just some irony]
Or, perhaps we need to take issues and rulings out of the hands of the SCOTUS through constitutional amendment.
Or, perhaps we need to live with the fact that thinking independently will always be a mixed blessing, and always at war (and threatened by) the lockstep society that always pulls the straight ticket lever (or punches the straight ticket chad) for the so-called Democratic Party.
