I am skeptical and I would like her name recalled. I have trusted President Bush through his administration, but I now have questions. Laura Bush does not believe Roe vs. Wade should be overturned and neither does Barbara Bush. http://archives.cnn.com/2001/ALLPOLITICS/stories/01/19/laurabush.abortion.02/

I believe Miers is weak and if she is not strong enough to stand up in her career to stand for conservative causes, she will not stand up on the court. This is one of the greatest decisions of his presidency and he punted. I want someone like a Thomas or a Scallia who I can trust, not someone I can only hope and cross my fingers to be conservative.

As a Christian, I am angry that fellow Christians who are leaders in the Evangelical church are putting their hope and trust in man. The Bible warns us not to do that. We are called to test the fruits. She shows none. There is nothing there to inspect of glean from. She is a blank slate and the conservatives who put President Bush in office deserve a better choice.

You would take Sheila Jackson Lee over William F. Buckley?

Excellent point.

I don't know about you, but that sounds like the crappiest trade-off since Sammy Sosa was dealt from the Texas Rangers for a pile of magic beans.

GASP!

Must not question Bush decision-making capacities.

(Prolonged eye roll.)

BTW, in case our friends from the other side haven't noticed, there are plenty of Texans and Southerners that think this nomination sucks.

Big-time.

"She is unrevealing to the point that it's an obsession,"
Can someone give me a single word that sums up this sentence?

Cataleptic
