I'm not sure which was worse that or having to bob for my butter bars in a Boiler Maker and keep doing it until all the drink was gone and holding only the beer mug managed to end up with my gold bar clenched in my teeth by the pins.
Only good thing about that night was that the Instructor Cadre (Officers and NCOs) were paying for the drinks.
