Did anyone catch this falsehood: "The cells are already there in the mother's amniotic fluid." Folks, the amniotic fluid has the new life's stem cells in it. Trying to assert the fluid is 'the mother's amniotic fluid' is either the writing of a very uninformed person or an effort to lie without getting called on it! The placenta and amniotic sac are constructs by the newly conceived (in this case, a higher mammal, not human).

Good catch! Another point to be aware of: amniotic cells are being designated as "fetal" stem cells.
