Bork thinks that RKBA is outdated, so I have read. I also consider him to be a believer in the idea that government can take a large role in ordering society. Otherwise, he may understand rather well the responsibilities of a Supreme Court Justice. But if I am correct on my first 2 objections, then he is not qualified in my book, fwiw.

Whatever Bork's flaws, it seems to me he's more qualified, and more of an originalist than Kennedy.

Ok. That is what I thought you were referring to.

I have great respect for Bork, and have read one (maybe two I can't remember) books of his. But I agree with your assessment. I think he is a great intellect, but occasionally "outsmarts" his ability to reason with clarity.

I find that very common in certain areas of our culture.
