The only thing I can say, is that I think that the Republican majority is so close, with RINOs, that the troublemakers have too much power (i.e. my way or the highway). A greater majority would give them less power to be the "swing vote".

No, it wouldn't. Not on it's own, that's what I'm trying to state.

A Greater majority leads to more betrayals unless discipline is enforced alongside the additions in majority. You can't have one without the other. That's the fatal error the adminsitration is making. They need to calculate how to effectively dicipline, or greater majorities are meaningless.
