I heard Brit Hume TWICE today and do not remember him saying anything of the kind. He said that Alice Batcheldor (sp?) had been vetted and found to have been quite the judicial activist and so she had been dropped. I don't recall him even hinting that any skeletons had caused anyone to drop out.

I have heard that Priscilla Owen asked that her name be withdrawn, but that didn't really surprise me. She is quite the scholar, but not a fighter.

I didn't say skeletons....did I say skeletons?...No, I didn't say skeletons.

I said she had 'quite the activism'.....

..but if you heard what I heard, you surely don't seem to have the imprint I have of Brit practically hissing this in Kristol's face.

It was a very sharp retort.

And activism can be skeleton wannabe's if a vetting committee is out for blood.
