And if there is another opening, you are going to get another Miers, and another one after that, because you will probably have the very same Senate or worse.

Then why vote for them?

This line of thought only encourages me to two thoughts.

A) Expose the scum. Do not appease. It'll be bloody but the clean up would be good.

B) Do not vote for them.

I do not bow to blackmail. I like my House Rep. That may be all I vote for next year, persuent to this line of thought being true, given my state is WA and I see no reason I should support anyone that will morph into someone else that would blackmail the president.

Why vote for them?

Because having the Congressional majority is the biggest piece of the pie. If we lose that, we lose everything.
