When it comes to the culture war, of which the Senate is of course a crucial battleground with the prize being Lady Liberty's very honor, I want both conventional and Nuclear Option weaponry...and battalions of precinct footsoldiers between elections in every district....
Heaven help us if we have to rely on the Senate for anything...
Could we not just abolish the Senate and let the House vote twice?
Better yet. Just do it by state legislatures. That's what the original Senate was supposed to be anyway.
Seriously, the Senate has outlived it's usefulness to the Republic.
