Wow; if I ever visit my friend in Dallas again, I'm going to ask her to take me to that church.
It seems Miers' critics are just gettin sillier by the minute.
Your post is fraught with so many errors.
Went to a Lutheran church about six weeks ago.
Somehow, the universe did not collapse on itself...or if it did, it did so quietly.
"Since I am Bible based - I am neither an Episcopalian or a Catholic and I don't pay that close of attention to their scandals or what either is doing organizationally."
Really, nmh! Why are you posting your opinion on things that you know nothing about? Shame on you!
"Better to be silent and be thought a fool, than to open your mouth and remove all doubt."
This is the church I had in mind when I said that some Episcopal churches would make wonderful Anglican Use Roman Catholic churches. In this case, there are only two things I think they would have to do: move the beautiful stations of the Cross from the Chapel to the Church, and replace all the BCPs with the "Book of Divine Worship." Everything else could go on as usual.
wonderful. I was still a practicing Anglican when I first started attending Catholic Masses, and I found that I knew the Mass by heart as a result of my years in Anglo-Catholic parishes. Yes, they would be a great addition to the universal Church.
...or between Dane's lips and the president's backside, regardless of the issue.
