I was just wondering: Iran had an earthquake a year or so ago. They lost like 10,000 people. The latest quake in Islamabad, Pakistan figures to kill at least that many. Around the same time as the Iran quake, we had a larger quake in CA. The US lost 40-60 people. That is a far cry from the tens of thousands killed over there. My question is; since these quakes kill more adherents of Islam than Christians or Westerners, Is God mad with them? Personally I believe that the backwardness and idiocy of Islam contributes to their losses. I would like to suggest that God is okay with us but seems pretty pissed at Islam in general. In reality, Islam tends to distain progress and western ideas thus leading to more deaths per natural disaster. Still, I can't help thinking that someone ought to be making the argument that Allah is more pissed at their idea of religion than of our "iniquity". Just a thought, what do you guys think?
I think you deserve to be zotted ...
I give you credit for waiting 3 months before starting to troll.
But you're not subtle enough for it to work. Nice try, though.
what he said.
I suspect the discrepancy in the number of deaths has more to do with the superiority of our engineering/constuction tech than anything else.
3rd world countries take more casualities. Why? Because..
1) Higher density of population
2) Lower quality of construction
3) Less effective disaster management and relief efforts
It has NOTHING TO DO WITH RELIGION!!!!!!
You sound just like the jihad yahoos that said Allah sent Katrina to the US
I it more likely that people in these areas live in 7th century housing; to match their 7th-century culture.
I'll let you know as soon as I get finished counting the angels on the head of this pin.
Repent! The zot is near!
