If it were not for FreeRepublic.com, this message would not be getting out. If the Iraqi people can survive and then defeat terrorism. we can surely survive and defeat MSMorrism.

The biggest danger to Iraqi citizens and the Iraqi government is terrorism.

Well said Qanbar!

Matchett-PI you have posted a most formidable thread!

Just don't lose any sleep awaiting the MSM to bring this information to the forefront of their information agenda.

Since the liberation of Baghdad, over two years ago, we and our American friends have been engaged in a crucial struggle in the war on terrorism. On behalf of myself and all Iraqis, I am enormously grateful for the sacrifice of brave and generous Americans, who have given so much that my people will live in freedom.

Thank you for your gratitude, now if we only had Democrat politicians in our country willing to support your directive and appreciate work well done instead of placing political party concerns ahead of national concerns here in the USA, we could wrap this up in a timely fashion.

"The biggest danger to Iraqi citizens and the Iraqi government is terrorism."

The biggest danger to freedom in Iraq are the DNC and the MSM who both are pulling for the insurgency.

The biggest danger to freedom in Iraq are the DNC and the [USA placed] MSM who both are pulling for the insurgency.

In case you haven't heard via the MSM, Iran and Syria are a concern also...

Very understandable and intelligent speech by an Iraqi diplomat.

It's heartening to know such clear-thinking Iraqi leaders and patriots exist despite the best efforts of the MSM to dam up such news in its own intellectual quagmire.

Thanks for this article. It contains some very critical things people should understand, and in so doing realize some things many had complained about where not the fault of the US Military or for that matter the previous IG. The speaker clearly admits the IG had not until recently gotten their acts together. I would urge anyone who has not read the excellant Defense Department Press Corps. briefing by General Petraeus dated 10/5/05 to do so as a follow up. Better yet, bookmark this post and that site that I will provide.

defenselink.mil

Surely a careful read shall enhance your understanding of just what our military is doing in Iraq.

..don't lose any sleep awaiting the MSM to bring this information to the forefront.."

The odds of this being included in the daily talking point fax they receive from DNC operatives, and other leftist anti-America indoctrinators, is nil.

Without instructions from their handlers on what to talk about, the incompetent, lazy, shallow mentalities in the MSM whose sole purpose in life is to be liked by other vacuous nin-com-poops, wouldn't be able to function.

They stupidly continue to dig their hole even deeper - in denial of and oblivious to the fact that they are no longer in control of the flow of information.

And just as important, neither are they any longer in control of the "intrepretation" of the information. Hahahaha bttt

"The biggest danger to freedom in Iraq are the DNC and the MSM who both are pulling for the insurgency."

The DemocRAT party gets most of its campaign contributions from those who hate America and all we stand for. When the RATS are able to get elected, they must come through for their base.

They know that the vast majority of the American people will reject leftist ideas at the ballot box, so the only way they can "come through" for their base and get the anti-American left's agenda enacted into law, is to install as many left-wing activist judges as possible. They must do an end-run around the constitutional legislative process, rule against the will of the people and impose that agenda on us.

The fact that they get most of their funding from the leftist extremist blame-America-first crowd - our avowed enemies - is THE reason why we must never allow DemocRATS to obtain political power either locally, statewide, or at the federal level. They never give up in their efforts to undermine our Constitution because they have to.

The Constitution stands in their way. bttt

I saw that briefing on C-PAN, really outstanding, answered a lot of questions.

Of course much of the MSM continues to ignore the facts that he described.

Particularly that level 3 and 2 are already in the fight as well as the level 1 unit!

Much of the level determination is more about logistics and higher level command experience.

Sadly the game plan to continue planting nonsense and actual incorrect information is the only thing we can expect from the L/MSM. I will only add that no matter how detailed a press conference is provided by our military, little will be reported without the required "messaging" of facts. The Defense Press conferenace and the speech given by the Iraqi military aid to the AEI, will not be broadcasted to the minions. All we'll hear about is the continued carnival acts on the Wilson/Plame issue. The die was cast hours before the POTUS made his first official announcement that the United States and all willing coaliton partners would remove the Butcher of Baghdad from power. All we shall see is a continued sequence of carnival acts.

"All we'll hear about is the continued carnival acts on the Wilson/Plame issue"

Which is merely more evidence of how successful they think they've been in dumbing down the public enough so that they won't be able to determine what is and isn't propaganda.

Check this speech out when you get time if you haven't seen it yet:

The greatest challenge facing mankind is the challenge of distinguishing reality from fantasy, truth from propaganda." ~ Michael Crichton

You may be surprised at how many simply do not have the capability of distinguishing between propaganda and something that may contain the semblance of fact. One only view the input of many Free Republic members to see what a wide variety of views are held just on what constitutes the reasons the POTUS made the final decision to launch a war against Iraq and then institute a SASO. And from my perspective, being now 59 years old, I can see clearly that not one of my family neither young, middle aged, or old (brothers, mom, daughter, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, even my Marine nephew who has served to tours to Iraq), nieghbors and friends etc., that none of them understand why we invaded Iraq, the histories leading up to the invasion, taking the time to wade through tons of stuff some of us do. Ater three years of almost constant instruction on my part, my mom still cannot grasps what has gone down. So whether it is all do to the dumbing down of America or not, many people simply do not wade into the issues and carefully discern what constitutes fact from deception, simply because they lack the skills and or the knowledge base to so.
