Why are you trying to add to what the Constitution says about the qualifications for the Supreme Court? You know that you don't have to even be a lawyer. Were the Founding Fathers idiots? No. And I'm certain Miers can read. The Constitution is in plain english. WE understand it. The whole problem is "scholars" reading more into it than is there. So you WANT someone that was taught to do that?!
I am not elitist, I just do not understand how it is considered a bad thing to be excellent.
Why do we help our kids with their homework, save money for their education and support them in their endeavors if it is not out of a sense of wanting them to be the very best they can be?
Now people are saying the very best are somehow undesirable?? Time to do away with scholarships, awards, The Super Bowl etc...
