I really advise against getting into credentials arguments because someone somewhere always has bigger and better credentials than someone else, on some subject or another. There is always someone who has a nbbel prize, and for every nobel prize there is another one whose resarch is even more relevant.

Credentials have nothing to do with the quality or legitimacy of an argument and it is best just to stick to the argument itself.
