The negativity of DU seems to have infected FR these last few days. Also the utter brainlessness....

Hey, I said "maybe". Your pal Senator Brownback has expressed his own doubts, after having met with her. If an upstanding Republican Senator like Brownback has doubts in Bush's ability to discern the judicial reliability of this candidate, then I don't think this doubt is a Democratic Underground trait.

It also seems that anyone who has doubts about this nominee is condemned as a "sexist" or an "elitist", and that there is no such thing as legitimate concern as to her qualifications and Constitutional philosophy. Opposing or even questioning the nomination is shouted down as heresy and disloyalty.
Yes....very DU-like indeed.

The negativity of DU seems to have infected FR these last few days. And the "Cult of Bush" seems to have infected Free Republic!
Just ask yourself...if Clinton had done this, and Miers was Clinton's nominee with EXACTLY the same record and assurances...would you support her?
If not...why not?
So...why is the "Cult of Bush" more important than Conservative Principles?

The negativity of DU seems to have infected FR these last few days. Since June, Bush Jr. has had two opportunities to appoint Supreme Court justices. Luttig and Rogers Brown haven't been nominated yet - why is that?
After all his blathering "it's all about the judges!" this time last year while begging for campaign loot and votes, ol' George Jr. is looking like a weaselly idiot with this Church Lady nominee.
