You know, I shoulda thought of that already. Thanks. I guess my age is catching up with me.

I know which thread it's on, but there are about 4,000 replies on it, so it will take awhile to find it. I don't have time to look right now, but I'm sure someone will find it shortly.

Do you remember the photo of the guy dressed like an Abu Graib prisoner with the white house in the background? then the other photo taken at the same time from the back showing about two dozen photographers gathered around for the photo shoot.

In this situation, I believe it was during the Sheehan story in Crawford where she or some compadre of hers It was Fat Al Sharpton.

To: WVNan
Yeah, that's one of the problems I just noticed - way too many threads.
I do know it was posted around the time when we had the massive rally in support of Dubya. That would be around Labor Day.

Thanks Martin! That is a great one. That was the one I saw - only without the caption.

..there's so many MSM photo opts it's hard to keep up with...the poster should not have a hard time finding loads of examples. There are plenty.

That would be another pic that I could use - I seem to recall seeing that one, too.
To: martin_fierro
I recall seeing a photo that the MSM posted showing just Sheehan kneeling down.
Is that one available, too? It would be nice to contrast the two.

The worst distoration was at the beginning of the Iraq war. A reporter took a picture of a Marine holding a gun and yelling at people to get down because there was fear of a bomb going off. The reporter changed the picture to make it look like the Marine was pointing the gun at a man holding his son and running, in order to make it look like he was going to shoot them.
If anyone knows where to find that picture please help out.

Hey, you're welcome.
If there's any other dated, pointless, obvious vanity research you'd like me to do for you, please ... contact tijeras_slim.

I don't have them on my laptop but when I get home I will send the links to this one + a couple of other "edited" photos from the anti war rally in September that clearly is representative of the main stream media "editing" "staged" photos to misrepresent what was actually happening when the photos were taken. It is just mind boggling what the liberal loving MSM gets away with when it comes to passing on their preconceived opinions and perceptions to an incredulous American public.

There is also a great series of pics on one of the protest threads showing a "lone" young black teen wearing a scarf on her head..then it zooms out and you see her group, then it zooms out more and you see the "handler" who is orchestrating their group...
found it... Anatomy of a photograph

LOL! Actually, that link you posted to the "anatomy of a photograph," is what triggered my discussion with this college student who participates in anti-Bush rallies.
Thanks.
