Interesting that he said he "hoped no Muslim was involved"....which means that was his first thought.

Perhaps he should accuse himself of prejudice, because he's essentially admitting that his first thought was that it might have been a Muslim, and that his second thought was that he hoped it didn't turn out to be one. He's admitting that he had the same reflexive thought we do when a bomb goes off as to the likely culprit. If Muslims are against violence, as he says, why did the possibility a Muslim was involved immediately jump to mind and make him hope he was wrong? He certainly seems to have jumped to a conclusion, and then hoped that conclusion was wrong. But the rest of us, according to Boren, should not jump to the very same conclusion that this Muslim did, who knows his own kind better than we do.

------

My first thought when the story of the DC sniper shootings was "Jeezes, I hope no white man was involved."

Now, having said that, within two days of this incident, before I got all the Freeper info, I was wondering if there was a terrorist cell in Norman. Now I not only believe there is a cell there I think it is big and most likely has links to other cells throughout the USA. This is a lot bigger than folks think. I just hope the information is not concealed by LE and the FBI, we need to know about it.
