What's more, officers have related tales of living with no food or water for days, and carrying a 300-pound sergeant with a broken ankle up and down flights of stairs. This load must have been a great asset during those traumatic times./s>
He should either drop some weight or be forced off the job.

I wonder how many practically new Escalades have shown up in the Truck Shopper out in Las Vegas in the last month.

After seeing the evacuees from NO, it's apparent that no food stamps should be issued until they show they are losing weight. No wonder their health care costs are so astronomical. What a sick city.
To: dennisw
was this before they got free trips to Las Vegas?

"The 3rd District was flooded out of its Moss Street headquarters, and officers had been trapped in the dental school for three days.
Riley said many of the district's cars had been washed out and that evacuating officers from the dental school proved difficult because the water level was 6 feet below the nearest windows."
This story is a crock.
If they had trouble being evacuated from the Dental School, how did they manage to drive away in brand new Cadillac's in 6 feet of water?

When FEMA director Brown commented on the dysfunctional local and state governments in Louisiana, he knew what he was talking about.
To our RINOS in Congress, it is more "correct" to follow the media template of the story than to stand with Brown and admit the truth.

See, this is why it was a good thing that the NO police Dept was staffed with 700 nonexistant cops. Cause if the Police force was really he 1700 on the payroll, not the 1,000 actual, crime would have been 170% greater.

I wonder if the Federal Government would have helped to rebuild Sodom. Probably.
To: dennisw
Hey, you don't expect them to drive to Vegas in anything less?

Instead of breaking into a Cadillac dealership, finding the keys and taking vehicles maybe they could have found the keys to one of these and driven it to Baton Rouge.

There was no intent to steal them Cadillacs - everyone knows you can barter a Cadillac for food and - a - a - a - big screen TV.
Every theiving bastard in NO should be shot and used for crab bait.
