Imagine what would happen, if Israel said the following: "We ban the symbol of cross, since it can be seen to represent the flag of Norway and is fearful of offending the school's anti-Norway students."
Ping!
So if they get offended, is he afraid the muslims will go home? The Jews were here first, let the muslims adapt.
For your ping lists. An interesting case.

Telhaug, who is not Jewish, teaches the Norwegian language and culture to new immigrants at the school.
"I see it as the oldest religious symbol we have in our culture, because without Judaism there would be no Christianity," he said.
The decision to ban the Jewish symbol from the school was slammed as "unacceptable" by head of local Education Association, Heidi Hauge Uldal.
the euros allways amaze me.
is it weird to see visions of Mel Brooks singing the inqusition song from History of the World about political correctness?
political correctness....what a show...da da da dah dah...here we go...*walks off humming toon*
Hmm, maybe the teacher could wear a big, bright yellow star on his clothing. Would that satisfy Muslims?
The Euroweenies may soon,if history is any guide, swing so extremely right, that we in America will still be calling them weird....
I was hoping that Norway would be an outpost of Western European civilization long after most of the continent had surrendered to Islamofascism. It is sad to think about how Islamofascism has made inroads into Scandinavia (maybe Greenland and Iceland are still safe).
This makes me want to cry. I hope Christians across Norway and in that school take to wearing the Star of David in support of their Jewish brothers and sisters. As a Catholic, I will pray that priests and bishops speak out.
What about all those kids with burkas on their heads that offend me? Shouldn't I have some consideration, too?
> So if they get offended, is he afraid the muslims will go home?
More likely that they will riot, and then they will have to treat the Moooslims with even more sensitivity.
I don't know how the Moslem cockroaches get off with such velvet glove treatment. What are they, special?
...and the Faroes :)
It's that Nordic tolerance that allowed the Moslem problem to happen. I wonder how long before this cherished tolerance snaps.
Why do you think the euros are the only ones who would do this? I remember reading of at least one case in which an American public school demanded that a teacher not wear a cross that was visible around her neck. Do you think most teachers in American public school feel "safe" enough to wear crosses or stars of David as jewelry?
"Do you think most teachers in American public school feel "safe" enough to wear crosses or stars of David as jewelry?"
They might applaud crescents or inverted pentagrams.
Are tehy banning the Koran, Cresent, etc... for fears of it offending Jewish students?
Thanks for the ping, definitely one for the list. I'll get to it later today.
I feel sorry for the non-indoctrinated Norwegians. Amd it's obvious they have way too many Muslim immigrants.
We offend them by being infidels, so what's the point in trying to make them feel LESS offended?
I think they're violent because of all the head-banging they do. Cripes - 5 times a day, banging their head. Their knees are probably in pretty bad shape after all those years of kneeling. Dang, that'd make me angry, too.
Let's send them some bacon wrapped up in the pages of a Koran and be done with it.

Europe will be transformed over the next few decades. I hope it's not for the worse.
Too bad they don't have the A.C.L.U. in Norway. They would have taken care of this months ago.
