I'm a Marshall in these events. Approximately 5 years ago there was a heavy rainstorm, and I didn't think anyone would show up. When the event started people drove up at the last minute and got out of their cars and stood drenched in a torrential rain. I was proud of each one of them, and it was an awesome witness to Johnson County.

I do the bulletin for a south KC church. I've put it in for the last month. I pray someone from the very liberal parish I work for will show up. I plan on standing near Mission on 95th with the rest of my parish. The weather looks as if it will be ok.
