"My ideas might sound strange, unless you're moral or educated."
Nice.
I would say disturbing rather than strange. What we have here is not a dispute within science, but a manifesto against science.
you (interpreting me): "My ideas might sound strange, unless you're moral or educated." Nice.
Your interpretation of what I said was not at all the meaning I intended. You are putting words in my mouth (i.e., attributing motives to me). I have too much respect for my "collaborators" here ever to say such a thing. These people are all decent human beings, and many are highly educated. I've been arguing with some of them for years now, and rarely if ever do we agree about much of anything. But guess what? I don't mind in the least that they disagree with me; I enjoy hearing their arguments, and learn something from them every day. I am grateful for their friendship. Some of them (including some of the more curmudgeonly) have become quite dear to my heart.
Why would you impute such a base statement as "My ideas might sound strange, unless you're moral or educated" to me?
