I guess CBS thinks a Manhattan cocktail party is the appropriate weighting benchmark for their polling, though 57% would be low there! But for the rest of America, 57% Democrat is absurd.

Earlier today someone posted the internals on this poll. VERY heavily weighted to Democrats....so use this poll as wiping paper the next time you need to sit on the porcelain throne.

How could people possibly be pessimistic about this economy? Oh, right, they haven't been told (or taken the time to learn) that its pretty swell.
(I suppose its possible that gas prices have an influence on their thinking)
