Given that we have the capacity to send solutions, it is unethical to keep sending the means to expand and perpetuate the problem. But we also believe in freedom, which means not forcing our ideas of solutions on other people. Ultimately, if people choose to act in ways that guarantee the misery and widepsread premature deaths of themselves and their children, THEY, not we, are responsible.
We currently have an alarmingly large portion of the world's population that habitually reproduces to the absolute limits of their food supply (which already includes a steady flow of "aid" from other countries), with no regard for the cyclicality of that food supply. This is unsustainable. It is a large part of the reason that Europe is being overrun with uneducated Arabs/Muslims with barbaric customs. For a while, policies like "border control" can help, but that's a band-aid on a gushing wound. If we keep sending food, they'll ultimately reproduce to a number where they'll have no trouble forcing their way across any border they choose. Personally, I'm fond of civilization, and want to see it continue.
