Like rings left on a table, where many cups have been.
Some moments though, don’t ask me why, are like a star at night,
They coruscate in memory, and give our dreams such flight!
We hook our hopes to stellar goals, and tie our memories tight,
And take a bouncing journey when we ride the dreams of night.
Some of us recall these scenes. We quickly set to pen,
To share with others tales of hope, just every now and then.
