Carlin is way to big a Lefty to suggest people should work for a living.
Carlin sometimes has a rightwing-ish/libertarianish bent but all his routines slam the rich, well-off, and sensible in society so this ain't him. Overall Carlin's a liberal anarchist. That said, he WAS funny...till maybe 15 years ago.
