Not me. Not in a million years.
Remember, Hillary had a very faulty memory when she appeared before a grand jury as did her lawyer friend Susan Thomasses (sp).
That's my guess as well. They have an unnatural ability to dodge the consequences of their actions.
Checking in late, Doug, but WOW! I haven't read the thread yet, but know you'll have lots of negativity. I'm impressed with your hard work, and it's great to see it paying off. We can only hope the things you found get out to a large segment of the population! Congrats on your hard work!!
Ohhhhh how I hope this Washington Post Story rips the blinders off some left leaning democrats.
This case has a great deal of evidence. Hillary was served, through David Kendall, in early July 2001. Peter made a demand for an accurate report and provided the information necessary. Nevertheless, she allowed a third fraudulent FEC filing to be made.
That's because people on OUR side of the aisle generally have more ethics than to pull a RonnieEarle stunt.
Hillary's dream scenario would have been in 2004 had no Democrat garnered enough delegates. No bad soundbites by rivals, no money spent, and a very short campaign after being named at the convention.
How did I guess that you would be here right away?
I dunno, Doug...how DID you know?
Not everything posted is necessarily a jab at you...notice that the first word I posted was "unfortunately". Don't jump so quickly into being a defensive victim. It's rather unbecoming.
Like you, I also appreciate the efforts of not only the journalist(s) following the story, but also the prosecutor(s) handling the case.
Unfortunately, (Lookie! There's that word again!) anyone with the last name Clinton is permanently inoculated from anything like this current situation. Having said that, I'll repeat what I wrote earlier: Unfortunately, nothing will ever come of this.
Have a nice day.
I don't want a Ronnie Earle, just an honest prosecutor who will prosecute this case. They picked the wrong person by going after Rosen. The responsibility for FEC filings lies with the treasurer and the candidate.
Interesting that it was the WashCompost.
And, Yes, Hillary will put a cap on the story. Hope it gets out to the cable networks and talk shows.
I'm not expecting an indictment. I am, however, expecting a civil trial that is explosive and damaging.
I know that we are really on the same side. :)
The Washington Post Magazine? I did not know they had a mag......this may not get many readers if it is not in the REAL paper.
Did you fear you were going to die in the Brazilian prison. Weren't you sent to the general prison population when it was getting close to the time to bring you back to the United States. Did you think Bill Clinton or Hillary pulled in a favor to get you moved so something might happen.
When did you realize that Bill and Hill are not your "friends" and that you must fight for your life?
I agree with you. I thought all along that she was keeping her options open to be the savior who rode in on the white charger. Fortunately, she was not given that opportunity. I'm not sure that the Clintons fully understand that members of their party are looking out for their own individual interests and not the Clintons' interests. IOW, they're not going to roll over for them.
It is the feature cover story. It will get noticed.
It comes in the paper - like Parade
