You did contribute to the confusion by capitalizing "ALL," which normally suggests something like, "I really, really mean what I'm saying with this word." I did consider it unlikely that you really meant that, except you responded to Ichneumon's quite explicit presentation on its absurdity without indicating in any way that you really meant "the basic tenets". All you said was:

Which at best was ambiguous, but could be easily taken as "they're not now, but they should be."
