They are ignoring this because it didn't happen in New York City. This happened in some redneck town out west Norman Oklahoma is far and away the least redneck town in Oklahoma. In fact it's majority dem, just barely.

Why is this not making the headlines?

"To rush to judge others or make assumptions about them on that basis is nothing short of prejudice."
Then perhaps Boren should stop judging and making assumptions about people who are questioning this incident.

Why is this not making the headlines? My guess is that it is not making the press as a possible terrorist attack because that represents FAILURE on the part of public servants.
Public servants do not admit failure. Pure CYA.

did I just hear Fox mention foot ball stadium and student? I've got C-SPAN2 and Limbaugh on here. If Fox or FoxNews mentioned OU and the football stadium, most likely they are reporting last week's suicide.

Suicide doesn't take a "large cache of explosive material
You're right. All it takes is one bullet.
Or one piece of rope, one razor blade, one bottle of pills, one car with one rubber hose, etc.

It's not like the MSM is going to be mum because Bush asked them to. Maybe he asked them to shout this story from the rooftops, LOL!Nope, the reasons for the silence are economic, not political...

I am not sure about that, CD. Heard that it is an independent operation owned by the Gaylord family. Will reply to your other pings in some time. Trying to get a few deliverables out of the door before lunch :)

reviewed their ticket records and determined that Hinrichs did not buy a football ticket from any university outletCould be that this clymer forgot the small detail of procuring a very hard to get ticket first.

FOX news is interested in this story...I've been communicating with one of the anchors...I guess they're compiling the info that's available in prep for jumping on it when deemed appropriate..This is my first post, so I hope no one has mentioned this...Been reading this thread since the incident!Harwood's a two-day old newbie! No Viking kittens for him.

Have you been reading Mark Tapscotts blog on this. It seems that the FBI has sealed the files to prevent the media from getting a look at what was found in Hinrics apartment.

Norman Oklahoma is far and away the least redneck town in Oklahoma. And if this story broke the MSM would have to go to Norman and that they do not want to do.
