I just finished reading the President's speech again and I think it contains a very strong message to Iran.

That's my take on it.

But while most of the nation is mindlessly obsessing over why Supreme Court nominee Harriet Miers' parents didn't get fleeced for a liberal Ivy League education, I stopped here. Second sentence in.

The two are not mutually exclusive. A strong moral foundation at home will give us a strong resolve against our enemies.

Correction:
" Sadly, for all of us, it will be too late to have the vision to understand the threat of our enemies when we are standing amongst the rubble of our great Republic.
It will be too late to recognize the severity of the threat when those who would cut off our heads, rape our women and indenture our children into the totalitarianism of radical Islam ( N.O.W., ANSWER, NARAL, ACLU, Liberalism, and the MSM ) have successfully ended the Great Experiment that is the United States of America.
If it takes until then we won't have a prayer because it will be an executable offense to pray. If you think it can't happen simply embrace your apathy and see what comes to pass. "
This article is sobering, and a wakeup call for all of us.

Sadly, the 5 th ( is it the 4 th ? or 5 th column ? ) column in this country is dividing us, just what the enemy wants.
That is what the enemy wants, either it be the enemy of our country, or the enemy of our souls.

This article is sobering, and a wakeup call for all of us.The left won't get the gist of Bush's speech yesterday, and happily discredit this article, the significance of the fight in Iraq, and Bush in the process.
Meanwhile, the rest of us who've been paying attention, supporting the troops and this President have connected the dots.

I did, too...they just don't get it. We don't care about an Ivy League ed...that shows how out-of-touch the White House and the party are.

The Fifth Column.
Our President, Our wonderful Troops, and our support for both are our strength. With anyone of those three missing, we're in trouble.
At some point,as a people,we will have to totally unite, much as we did in WWII.I just hope it doesn't take a nuclear cloud over a major city to bring us together.

I have heard, and I guess, the 5 th column is the MSM ? Liberals ? The Communist party here in the USA ?
To: BigSkyFreeper
The left won't get the gist of Bush's speech yesterday Nope. They see everything, absolutely everything, through the prism of their hatred of the man. Nothing escapes being distorted by that hatred. If Pelosi were crossing the street and a car was coming, and Bush yelled out, "Look out, Nancy!", Pelosi would say, "Yeah, right, another lie", and get hit.

The term dates back to the Spanish Civil War.There's a pretty good definition here

Frank Salvato has a good piece on the modern day Fifth Column in our country here

The Communist Party USA,and elements of the MSM and liberal establishment to include some dems certainly qualify for inclusion.
FRegards...
